Cassandra Kelley
Cassandra Kelley is a testament of what can happen if you follow your bliss. Originally from Houston, she launched her career as an auditor, then a consultant for several big four firms. After four years, she moved from Houston to New York to experience the business side of fashion. Her experience with major fashion houses such as Carolina Herrera and Reem Acra in their couture bridal divisions led her to create her own label in 2004. As the founder of 2Belles Lingerie & Loungewear, as well as Girly Einstein and all it encompasses, Cassandra discovered the creativity that had been dormant within her for years.
With her collection carried at luxury lingerie boutiques from La Petite Coquette in New York to Black Satin Intimates at the Wynn in Las Vegas, celebrities including Avril Lavigne, Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas and Carmen Electra have fallen for 2Belles. Cassandra’s goal to bring cheeky, yet comfortable lingerie to the market has allowed her to achieve her bliss and an expertise in the intimate apparel field. Additionally, her collection has been covered in major publications including People, Star and US Weekly.
Designing and producing lingerie, however, has now been supplemented with Girly Einstein—a company Cassandra has developed as an incubator for herself and others. Girly Einstein encompasses the rest of Cassandra’s creativity which includes mentoring and placing her interns into their next internship or job, as well as other activities. Her latest venture involves producing upscale selling parties for women with high spending power. Not only do these events benefit specific charities, but they also allow a small number of screened designers to sell and promote their collections to a targeted, eager audience.
Cassandra’s attention to detail with her lingerie collection coupled with her ability to find niche businesses with Girly Einstein has allowed her to expand her collection distribution internationally to the Middle East and Europe. She plans to continue the expansion of 2Belles, as well as cultivate Girly Einstein and all its potential.
