Guy Blews was born and raised in London, England. After one year studying Philosophy at University, he followed a career in music, writing and design.
Blews left England in the late 90s and moved to Malibu, California where he began to widen his expertise in the field of clothes design. He saw his designs used around the world in the Uma Thurman Lancome advertising campaign, and in a multitude of magazines on celebrities such as Pamela Anderson, Jennifer Love-Hewitt, Courtney Cox, Angelica Houston, Paula Abdul, Joanna Krupa, Rachel Griffiths, Tara Reid and Kirsten Dunst.
In May of 2003, Blews began designing for Beija Brazil. He traveled to Rio de Janeiro and immediately saw and felt the intense energy of the Brazilian culture. This was the inspiration for the line that is now Beija Brazil – bright, colorful, sexy and fun.
Blews continues to live in Malibu, California in order that he may influence Beija Brazil to be marketed to the world. And he still travels to Brazil to ensure that the Brazilian flair for life is captured in the designs of Beija Brazil - in order that others may feel and experience a little piece of the world’s most sensual country.
